PCBA process is the process of electronic components that have been soldered onto a PCB board and performing soldering. The two commonly used methods in the welding process are reflow soldering and wave soldering.
1.Reflow soldering.
Reflow soldering is the process of placing pre-installed electronic components and PCB boards into a reflow oven to finish soldering in a high-temperature environment.
The main characteristics of reflow soldering are uniform temperature and good solder joint quality, making it suitable for soldering small-sized components.
2. Wave soldering.
Then the entire PCB board that has already been mounted is directly passed through a machine suspended on solder waves. Under the impact of wave peaks, solder is cast onto the pins of the component to complete the soldering process. This method is suitable for soldering larger components such as sockets and connectors.
3.How to choose a suitable welding method?
This mainly depends on the packaging and design requirements of electronic components. Small and delicate components can choose reflow soldering, while clumsy and cute components require wave soldering to firmly fix them!
Attention: The temperature of reflow soldering should be higher than wave soldering, so some sensitive electronic components, such as temperature sensors, may not be suitable for reflow soldering. Before choosing a welding method, please sure carefully check the welding requirements of the components.
